It would be cool to have Franky made into a figure.
Andyman,
Go see this! It's worth it just for the robots!

Saw it tonight. Was very well done. Sure would have been good to have some figs, yes of Franky of course. But also some models of the ships, like the ones that Franky flew into the water where the propelers slipped to the back just before they went underwater. Cool. Nice movie. I'll pick it up on DVD whenever it comes out.

I saw it last night and loved it! The whole visual image was consistent which was good. The robots ruled! I wish they would make the friggin' toys now!
I'm glad they explained the Captain's P-40's ability to go underwater. I was kind of concerned about the hokeyness of that in the trailers. Well it was still kind of hokey but it fit the context of the movie.
Only one part bared itself as chinzy animation to me. That's when one of the scientist got fried and fell to the ground as a skeleton. The skeleton looked very cartoony to me. Of course, after following that gruesome display of deep fried scientist...it was kind of a relief.
I can't believe how many references it had to other movies! Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones, Wizard of Oz, The Matrix, LOTR, Jurassic Park, Buck Rogers and others.
All in all a very well done action adventure movie! It lived up to my year long wait of anticipation! Law & Paltrow captured the acting essence of the film era that the movie was based on (something People magazine didn't get).
